Five coordinates of a single territory.
Where artificial intelligence, experimental computation, human agency, and philosophy begin to overlap. Not departments — angles of approach on one question: what happens when intelligence is no longer merely studied, but deliberately constructed?

Intelligence — not merely studied, but constructed
The first coordinate. The central shift of the era: intelligence is increasingly something we build, not just something we observe. When intelligence is constructed, the question changes from what can it do? to what does it make inspectable, and what does it make opaque?
Agency — who can intervene, and how
The second coordinate. An intelligent system that cannot be intervened in is not a tool; it is a weather system. Agency is the capacity to initiate, override, refuse, and revise. Without it, inspectability is academic.
Computation — not only silicon
The third coordinate. Computation is not synonymous with digital logic. Biological substrates, mixed analog-digital systems, and architectures not yet named all fall within the territory. The question is not what is computation? but what could be computation?
Construction — the smallest thing that can be wrong
The fourth coordinate. Construction is the method: build the smallest implementation that commits to a hypothesis, then watch where reality disagrees. A reference emulator counts. A slide deck does not.
Possibility — what becomes constructible, contestable, revisable
The fifth coordinate. The deepest one. Not what is possible? but what would have to be made explicit for new possibilities to be constructible, contestable, and revisable? This is where Onturgism lives.
How the coordinates connect
The coordinates are not independent. Each one tests a hypothesis that one of the others needs but cannot justify on its own. Intelligence needs agency to remain contestable. Construction needs computation to become real. Possibility needs all four to become inspectable.
None of these connections is a theorem. They are working hypotheses about how the field relates, and they are revisable.
This system is incomplete.
So are you.
Continue constructing.
